The Shark, Harlow is one of the Hertford McMullens Brewers famous community public houses, providing a social meeting place with musical entertainment and sports viewing for the residents of the Parndon area of Harlow.

Positioned half way along Hoding Road, (behind the hospital) , the warm ambience of The Shark attracts residents from all areas of Harlow.

‘On Tap’ is the ever popular McMullens AK Bitter as well as everybodies favourite I.P.A.

A wide variety of lagers are available from Fosters to Heineken, Stella Artois, Kronenbourg , which alongside Guinness and Strongbow gives The Shark customers a drink for every persons taste.

The large outdoor seating area is popular on sunny days especially with our Sunday BBQ.

A comprehensive home cooked range of food is available every lunchtime and most evenings, but on an evening it is best to telephone before visiting for food in case other activities are overlapping ( televised sports, etc. )

As well as the normal menu , each day there are a number of ‘Specials’ to tantalise your taste buds.

At lunchtimes people who have limited time for lunch ring in their order and find it waiting for them as they arrive.

Traditional Sunday Lunch is served from noon until 4.00 p.m. each Sunday.

Each bar has a large screen for sports viewing and there are extra plasma and LCD screens all around so that big events can be seen from everywhere.

Sunday evenings local Wannabee karaoke attracts would be Elvises from all over town.

Monday is Texas Hold’em Poker night – all welcome - £5 for a good nights fun and you could win £100.

Friday is a busy evening with the usual suspects enjoying themselves with karaoke Wannabee Steve or sometimes Fubar or local Fire Brigade Band Trip Hazard will perform. Not a night to miss!

Saturday is live band night each week with all the best bands of Essex strutting their stuff ..... Triple XXX, Charlies Aunt, Repertoire Dogs, Cupid Stunts, Expose, Undercover and Fubar
